About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmu Sosial Politik dan Humaniora (JISORA) is a national-scale, multidisciplinary open-access journal with a combination of Social, Political, and Humanities studies. All published articles go through a rigorous and rapid review process to meet journal quality standards. Specifically, JISORA discusses topics in Human Resources, Community Studies, Community Service, and Socio-Economics. Whether the articles are theory-oriented or practically questionable to improve research in the social, political, and humanities fields. JISORA also regulates the relevance, eligibility, and texts to be published. The journal is published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Garut University. JISORA has been published since 2018 with a publication frequency of 2 times a year (March and September).

ANNOUNCEMENT OF JISORA ACCREDITATION

We are pleased to announce that, pursuant to the Decree of the Direktur Jenderal Sains dan Teknologi Number 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 dated July 24, 2026, concerning the New Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period 3 of 2025, the Journal of Social and Political Sciences (JISORA) has successfully improved its accreditation ranking from SINTA 4 to SINTA 3.

This accreditation is valid from Volume 8, Issue 2 (2025) until Volume 13, Issue 1 (2030).

This achievement reflects JISORA's continued commitment to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing through a professional, transparent, and integrity-driven editorial process.

We also encourage all authors, reviewers, and partners to remain vigilant against any individual or organization falsely claiming to represent JISORA. All official communications regarding manuscript submission, peer review, revision, and editorial decisions are conducted exclusively through JISORA's official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
